THE WORKFLOW
From reusable template to finished document
Bring your Word templates
Add meaningful placeholders with the built-in drag-and-drop helper while editing DOCX files.
Enter data once
Maintain companies, signatories, contract details, currencies and statuses in one focused workspace.
Generate consistently
Create up to ten documents in one operation, with predictable filenames and a searchable local register.
LOCAL BY DESIGN, GENUINELY UNDER YOUR CONTROL
Your confidential documents stay on your computer.
FilmContractor is a desktop application: contracts are completed and registered locally, not inside a remote FilmContractor cloud.
Local processing, not cloud storage
Your company data, templates and completed contracts are handled on your Windows PC and in folders you choose. FilmContractor does not upload your documents to a FilmContractor server.
You choose every recipient
The finished document is an editable DOCX file. FilmContractor does not send or share it with anyone: only you decide who receives it and which trusted channel you use.
No lengthy IT rollout
There is no server, cloud workspace, account synchronisation or extra FilmContractor module to deploy. Once installed, you can start working with your own Word templates.
Made for Word users
No programming skills are required. If you can edit a Word document, the built-in placeholder helper gives you the tools to manage FilmContractor templates.
The core workflow works offline
Document creation, template management and the local contract register can run without an internet connection—even on an isolated computer—provided Microsoft Word desktop, FilmContractor and the required local files are installed and available.
Optional website, support, purchasing, download and update functions require an internet connection.
